Ashley Tisdale French is getting candid about her postpartum body.
The actress and mom of two, 40, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 13, and spoke honestly about her feelings towards her body. Tisdale French, who welcomed her daughter Emerson in 2024, shared that it was the first time she "felt comfortable" wearing a bikini.
"19 months post partum [sic]. No shortcuts," Tisdale French wrote across the photo. "PT for diastasis twice a week and @pilates_by_amanda (whenever I drive in to LA so not as consistent)."
"I'm not exactly where I want to be yet but it's the first time I have felt comfortable wearing a bikini since having Emerson so that's a win!" she continued. "Reminder, everyone is different PP so let's try to give ourselves grace and not compare."

Back in March, the proud mom celebrated her daughter Jupiter's 5th birthday, sharing heartfelt tributes to the little one on Instagram. Tisdale French shared a sweet video filled with some of her favorite moments with her daughter over the years.

"Jupiter iris I can’t believe your 5, I’m so proud of who you are and who you’re becoming," she began. "You’re sensitive, sweet, smart, sassy, empathetic, and so loving to everyone around you. We hit the lottery when you chose me and your dad to be your parents."
"Being the first we all go through such a journey together and it’s like you help guide us and make it so easy," Tisdale French shared. "I love you more than you will ever know!"
In addition, French shared an eight-photo Instagram carousel filled with adorable snaps of him and his daughter.
"Happy Birthday my little Jupiter. It’s been 5 years since you changed our world forever, I honestly can’t believe it," he wrote. "Since Day 1 she’s been magical, and it has been the honor of my lifetime to get to be her Dad and watch as she becomes the coolest, kindest, funniest and most interesting kid I’ve ever met."
"I can’t wait to see what’s next! I love you always & all ways x 💕" the proud dad added. "Thanks for cookin this little weirdo up babe @ashleytisdalefrench she’s 5! 🥹"
While speaking to PEOPLE in December 2024, Tisdale French called being a mom her "favorite thing." She added, "It's changed my life in so many ways. I'm so grateful."
