Carole Radziwill is back — and she's explaining why.

The former The Real Housewives of New York City star further dipped her toes back in the Bravo pool after her 2018 show exit, appearing alongside other franchise favorites at BravoCon 2025 on Thursday, Nov. 13.

The journalist and author, 62, joined forces with the likes of Tamra Judge, Sheree Whitfield, Lisa Barlow and Porsha Williams for an event celebrating two decades of Real Housewives franchise.

Her appearance in Las Vegas came just three months after she made a surprise return to Bravo on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

While appearing with Andy Cohen and her fellow Housewives, Radziwill detailed what went into her decision to return to the Bravo universe. "I thought when I left eight years ago, I could go quietly into the night," she said, noting that "there is a sisterhood here."

"I might not have a lot in common with all the women, but in some, I've met this for the first time tonight. But there's a sisterhood on the stage," she added. "It's really powerful."

Radziwill's initial return to the network took place in August when she visited the Bravo extraordinaire himself on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The author revealed the status of her Bravo relationships while on the talk show, noting that she sees Dorinda Medley, 60, "occasionally" and Heather Thompson, 57, "very occasionally."

"Other than that, I haven't seen anyone else in eight years," she told Cohen.

Despite her lengthy absence from the network and franchise, Radziwill still holds a lot of love for the fanbase and interacts with Real Housewives fans via Substack. "The Bravo fans are so incredible, even all these years later," she said. "I want to give them something to think about."

When she left RHONY in 2018, Radziwill said the series was forcing her to go against her “value system.” She wanted to turn her attention to professional endeavors, she revealed in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.

“I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing," she said. “My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”

In the statement, she noted that she was "thrilled" to leave "frenemies" and start her next chapter. She concluded the message in her signature wit: “I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next."

Although she's looking to write headlines, not make them, she's no stranger to the spotlight. Back in September, Cassandra Grey shared a photo of her latching onto heartthrob musician Harry Styles, 31, during Charles Porch and Robert Denning's star-studded wedding circulated the internet.

On Sept. 16, Radziwill appeared on the Reality Checked SiriusXM radio show, where she commented on her run-in with the Grammy winner as he helped her ascend a tall staircase.

“Harry came over. He’s really actually such a lovely person, and if I didn’t know he was going to be at the wedding … I don’t know if I would’ve recognized him," she said. "He was lovely and he said, ‘How can I help you?’ … I was like, ‘You know, take my arm.’ And he did. And it was really sweet.”

BravoCon 2025 continue through Sunday, Nov. 16 at Las Vegas' Caesars Forum. Days of Our Wives, 20 Years of the Real Housewives will air Monday, Nov. 17 on Bravo and fans can stream it on Peacock.
