Eddie Murphy is a super dad!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actor, 64, revealed what his strongest suit is as a father to 10 children.
"My superpower is that I am always, always present," Murphy said during the Being Eddie premiere at the Tudum Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 12.
"Talk to one of my kids anytime of day and ask, 'Where's your dad right now?' and they can look at their watch and tell you literally what part of the house I'm in," he continued. "Dad is always present and always has been."

Murphy is a father to 10 children total. He became a dad for the first time in 1989 through the birth of his first child, son Eric Murphy, with his then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely.
The Daddy Day Care alum is also a father to five children with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell — Bria, Myles, Shayne, Zola and Bella — has two children from his former relationships with Melanie "Mel B" Brown and Tamara Hood, Angel and Christian, respectively, and shares kids Izzy and Max with wife Paige Butcher.

Murphy spoke about the reaction he gets from others when he mentions how many kids he has during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019.
“Men kind of look at me like, ‘He’s crazy. How much did that s--- cost?’ And women, there’s something sexy about it. ‘Eddie Murphy must be doing his thing. Eddie Murphy be gettin’ it in,' " he said at the time.

Murphy credits a lot of who he is as a father currently to his wife, whom he wed in a small ceremony on the island of Anguilla in 2024. They first began dating in 2012.
"Oh, she's at the center of it. She pulled it all together. I got a winner with Paige," Murphy told PEOPLE.
The actor previously said of his large family dynamic, with children ranging in age from 36 to 6, “It just happened. I never knew I would have 10 kids, but now it’s the best thing ever."
