Five months since her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen was finalized, Isla Fisher is embracing her new story. Not only has she been busy promoting her latest film, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, alongside co-stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, and Mark Ruffalo, but she's also moved into a new home.
After enlisting the help of Soho Home to fit her personal aesthetic, the Wedding Crashers star couldn't feel more at home. However, while talking with Elle Decoration, she admitted that the process has been emotional.
"Trying to create a new life from a grassroots level, at least emotionally, has been challenging, but deeply rewarding," she admitted.

Unlike her home in Australia growing up, or her previous home in LA with Cohen and their three children, her new place is in London. Filled with sunlight, Fisher had looked at house after house before finding "the one."
"To be in a space like this is so calming for me," she said about the sunlight-filled house. But it was the backyard that sealed the deal. "I’ve been obsessed with weeping willows since I was a kid and there’s one in the backyard, so it felt like kismet," she explained.
Interior designer Sophie Arquimbau helped her pick out chandeliers, sofas, and rugs. "It’s all very warm and casual, but glamorous," she said. "It’s theatrical, which is a bit like me as a person I suppose."
Even with it checking all the boxes, she had that moment of realizing that this wasn't just a new house with new furniture; she was moving on into a new life.
"When it all arrived, I did have a bit of a cry because this was my first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own," she mused. She and Cohen were together for more than two decades, first meeting at a party in Sydney in 2001.

Despite referring to her divorce as "the most difficult thing I've been through," she's excited to get back to acting.
“I’ve got time to discover what inspires me creatively, so it’s been an amazing and lucky thing," she told The Australian. "For most parents, we focus on our kids and it’s so divine and magical and so absorbing, but now I have some time where the kids aren’t with me, so I get some time to think about what the future might hold for me. Which is exciting and also scary."
"Everything is scary," she added.
