Goodwin and Dallas first met on the set of Once Upon a Time in 2011, where they played Snow White and Prince Charming. After developing a connection while filming, the two went public with their real-life romance about a year later.
The two officially tied the knot in California, in April 2014, and shortly after, they welcomed their first son together. Two years later, the couple welcomed their second son in June 2016. When speaking to PEOPLE at The John Varvatos 12th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood, Dallas said Goodwin is "the greatest mother that I know."
“It’s extraordinary because she is, literally, the greatest mother that I know,” the actor told PEOPLE.
“It’s extraordinary to have your partner, who you’ve known all this time, blossom into this woman … who is so nurturing, so caring and just so cool," he said. "She’s so cool, and she’s a cool mom. It’s great.”
While chatting with PEOPLE exclusively on the red carpet at the 2025 Disney Upfronts, the Zootopia actress shared her plans for her upcoming 47th birthday party. Goodwin said she plans to enjoy a day in her "really comfy chair" watching her sons play soccer.
"I'm taking my kids to a soccer game. I mean their own. I know I really am into sitting in my really comfy chair with my cup of coffee [and] watching my kids play," she told PEOPLE. "So, I told everybody I do not want our day to be any different than it would normally be. We're going to go do that. We're going to have some spaghetti for dinner. That's my birthday."

The proud mom of two also revealed to PEOPLE how she spent her Mother's Day.
"Oh yeah, they spoiled me rotten," she said, referring to her sons and her husband. "We watched [Paddington in Peru]. They took me out to a lovely brunch. We then went to soccer again."
When asked whether her children were going to pursue a professional soccer career, the actress told PEOPLE, "I mean, that's what they want right now, and I'm like, you just, you go for it because I like my comfy chair."
