Kylie Kelce revealed the secret she's keeping from her four daughters to make long car rides easier when speaking on the June 19 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast

The NFL mom, who's married to former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, joked she's going to lie to her kids "till the day I die"

Kylie Kelce's podcast may be called Not Gonna Lie; however, there are exceptions.

In a recent episode, the NFL mom, 33, opened up about a secret she's keeping from her four little daughters — Wyatt Elizabeth, Elliotte Ray, Bennett Llewellyn and Finnley “Finn” Anne — to help with long car rides, and it's a lie she's totally fine with.

"We've taken some trips to the shore, and we were lucky enough to get the screen feature in the back. We have a TV. That is a game changer for the beach. The girls are obsessed," Kelce began to explain in the episode released on Friday, June 19.

"Although I won't lie to you guys," she continued, jokingly adding, "I will lie to my children till the day I die — but I won't lie to you guys — and I did lie and tell my children that the TV only works on long car rides."

The topic came about when Kelce discussed her decision to purchase a minivan. She wasn't into it at first; however, her husband, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, and their kids liked the idea.

"I might have been reluctant to go full minivan. I believe I've used the words, 'Swore I'd never do this,' but Jason and our girls have always been on board," the podcaster recalled. "And now that I'm a few months in, they're definitely loving the Sienna, which makes it harder for me to keep resisting."

"I will tell you Jason is basking in the fact that I have caved about a minivan. He's been trying this for years," she added. "If you're nervous to go full minivan, listen. I've been there. But, hey, maybe check out your local Toyota dealer just for funsies. Just fun. Go take a test drive."

On the March 20 episode of Not Gonna Lie, Kelce revealed that she purchased the new car and officially entered a new stage of life: minivan mom.

"I'm officially a minivan driver," she said on her podcast. "Yep. It happened. Do I look pleased? It's actually a really smooth ride, and the girls are so excited about the fact that the doors open without anyone touching them."

"And they climb in and out by themselves. And the positivity surrounding it is annoying, including my own. I don't wanna talk about it. I'm not ready," she joked.

Kelce, who was pregnant with her fourth girl at the time, first announced she was buying a minivan after she listed the vehicle as one of her "ins" for the new year.

"Number one, as much as it pains me to say, minivans," Kelce told her listeners.

She added, "I said what I said. And for the people, my friends, who are hearing this, I don't need a wellness check, although I have told you before that that is what it would take if I ever said I was getting a minivan."

Despite not being crazy about the idea of van life, she knew its size would be beneficial for her expanding family, especially when loading in all of her car seats upon the arrival of her fourth-born daughter.

"Here's the problem. I'm about to have four car seats, four, in one car, and we're gonna do a little three-year commitment, guys. We're gonna do three years," she said in the episode.

"We're gonna grind it out," Kelce continued, jokingly adding, "And then we're gonna pretend it never happened. Kay?"
