The Young and the Restlessalum Michael Muhney (ex-Adam) has cleared the air about his decade-long feud with his former co-star Eric Braeden (Victor).

Braeden played Muhney’s on-screen father for nearly five years on the CBS soap. It’s no secret that toward the end of Muhney’s run, some seriously bad blood developed between him and the soap legend.

Michael Muhney Gets Real About Feud With The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden

Taking to X, Muhney gave an update on where he stands with Braeden a decade after he left The Young and the Restless. Muhney used three separate posts to get his point across.

“Much like Jerry Jones & Jimmy Johnson…Eric Braeden and I fell apart, and much like Mr. Jones and Mr. Johnson, it took a very long time, but Eric and I have made up and shared our love and admiration for one another. Eric didn’t have to forgive me for our conflicts, but he did,” the actor wrote.

Muhney went on to explain, “If we hadn’t fallen apart way back when, who knows how far we could’ve gone together? I do so greatly admire him and I am impressed by his grace and class. He will always remain the single best scene partner I have ever had in my entire career. Hands down.”

The actor ended his X message, revealing how it felt to be on the other side of his feud with Braeden.

“Feels good to heal from this. I’ve needed this more than I realized,” Muhney declared.

What Led To The Young and the Restless Stars Eric Braeden and Michael Muhney Fighting?

As of this writing, Braeden has not commented on Muhney’s social media confession about their feud. However, he had a lot to say back in the day when it started.

In 2014, Braeden revealed toRadarOnline that he welcomed Muhney to the show with open arms.

“I welcomed Michael Muhney when he came here. He is a great actor. We did have our differences, but for anyone to say that I had him fired is a lie. I have always thought he was a very good actor and told him so,” the soap legend expressed.

However, things took a turn toward the end of Muhney’s run when the two men would get into some heated shouting matches on-set. According to what Braeden told the outlet, Muhney allegedly tried to get him fired.

“He wanted to push aside the old lion. That was in his words to me, at the very end,” Braeden spilled.

Muhney has stepped back from acting over the past few years, with his last appearance on the Apple TV series Truth Be Told in 2021.
