The Saved by the Bell star is no slouch in the kitchen, with two cookbooks under her belt. She's often sharing recipes and food ideas on social media, so it's not surprising that she's giving us this gem right before the holidays.
If you want to make an elegant yet easy snack that will have your guests begging for the recipe, consider serving Thiessen's Baked Double Crème Brie, topped with cherry preserves. In the Instagram video, the actress shared exactly how to make it, so you, too, can wow your guests.

The kitchen star started with one container of Alloutte Double Double Crème Brie that she chopped up, even leaving the white rind on. Thiessen added that to a baking dish before sprinkling in brown sugar and fresh herbs. Then, she tops it with cherry preserves and slivered almonds and bakes it until the cheese is gooey.

Pour the brie into the baking dish. Spoon dollops of the cherry preserves over the top of the brie. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is fully melted. Remove from the oven. Garnish with toasted almonds, fresh thyme leaves, a pinch of flaky salt and a grind or two of black pepper. Serve while hot with crackers, toast, fruit, etc."
"Oh yum!!! This looks so good! 😋🙌🏻🧀" one fan wrote, as another added, "One of my holiday faves!! 👏🏻 Looks delish! 😍."
Many others praised her looks, with one saying she'll forever be Kelly Kapowski.
"The definition of aging like fine wine omg mother omg😭😭," another read, as someone else echoed, "Cooking is all good but you are still one of America’s most beautiful women. Crazy! ❤️❤️❤️."
Others simply thanked her for giving them a new dish to try for Thanksgiving, though there are other recipes online that tweak the recipes slightly to incorporate different flavor profiles, like this one, which incorporates pistachios, or another that replaces cherry preserves with fig jam.
Whichever way you decide to bake your brie this season, it can be paired with crackers, toasted baguettes, or even pretzels.
