All aboard, thrillseekers! "Hijack" returns to Apple TV.
Season 2 of the series, starring Idris Elba as Sam Nelson, premieres this week. In an interview with The Grio, Elba said this time, chaos ensues on a train, rather than a plane.
"There’s a little, I say, continuation of the story, or the reason why the plane was hijacked in the first place, as to why the train is now being hijacked," Elba told the outlet. "So he’s back. He’s grumpy. He doesn’t want to be there, and he’s going through some trauma."

When does 'Hijack' Season 2 premiere?
"Hijack" Season 2 premieres on Wednesday.
"Hijack" debuts on Apple TV on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Season 2 is slated to have eight episodes, dropping weekly.
According to the streaming platform, this season, Sam is caught up in another crisis as a "Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage."
