2026 started off with a bang (and a few death drops) with the premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18! Fourteen new queens entered the "Werk Room" to begin their journey to becoming America's Next Drag Superstar. And a design challenge threw them right in the thick of things, tasked with reusing previous Drag Race props into a new outfit of their own. It was a great way to highlight the cast, and kick the season off with a lip sync to remember.Here's our spoiler-filled recap of everything that happened in the premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18, including who went home.

Who went home on RuPaul's Drag Race tonight?Nobody!
Like many of the previous years, the Drag Race premiere had no queens going home. We'll have to wait until next week to find out who the Porkchop of the season is.
Who won this week on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18?Nini Coco
Nini Coco and Vita VonTesse Starr impressed the judges the most with what they were able to assemble from the unconventional materials. Rather than a lip sync for your life, the two hit the stage to perform for the first win of the season. Nini won the bout, taking home $5,000.
